HS Air Force Junior ROTC

The mission of AFJROTC is to develop citizens of character, dedicated to serving their nation and community. The AFJROTC program is available to 9-12 graders. The curriculum consists of aerospace science, aerospace studies, basics of aeronautics, astrology and astronomy, space exploration, cultural studies, basics of financial management to include: balancing checkbook, renting apartment, buying or leasing a car, basics of budgeting, leadership skills, drill and ceremonies, and physical training. Students that remain in the program for at least 3 years and maintain a 3.5 GPA are eligible for a ROTC scholarship, valued at $180.000. Enrollment in AFJROTC does not endorse or require students to enlist in the military.
